I look forward to “Black Friday” every year. It’s not the great shopping deals, the tasty Thanksgiving leftovers or even the “holiday season.” It’s about spending time with my family. Five years ago, we started a tradition on the day after Thanksgiving: we stay in our pajamas, pile on the couch and watch our favorite holiday movie, Elf. I wish I could do the same with my co-workers (but let’s say with real clothes on, not pajamas), because at Caringo, we actually are like one big family. That family not only includes our teammates, but our customers and our partners.
Whether it’s a small cloud service provider, post production studio, or large government agency, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch customer support and engagement to make sure our customers are meeting all their project goals. In the movie Elf, the manager at Gimble’s Department Store advises: “Make work your favorite. That’s your new favorite.” That is the type of passion all of us at Caringo have around enabling our customers to succeed.
With the continued demand for Swarm, our scale-out hybrid storage platform, we have been on a journey to find partners who match our commitment to customer satisfaction. Fortunately, that journey is not quite as complicated as the Buddy’s who “passed through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest, through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops,” and then “through the Lincoln Tunnel.” We just look for partners that shares our passion for helping customers. So, it is with great excitement that we are announcing that our family is growing with a partnership with JB&A Distributors.
JB&A, staffed by industry experts who completely understand the technologies that are needed for Video and Content Management, is a recognized leader in Video and Content Management with a unique mix of Distributor, Channel Partner and Solutions Provider capabilities and an ecosystem of certified, tested and proven products and workflow solutions. Like Caringo, JB&A provides world-class customer support driven by a team that cares. Our partnership with them is a complete win for all: JB&A, Caringo and, most importantly, our customers.
In 2017, we certified Caringo Swarm against many different Media and Entertainment data management solutions such as Reach Engine by Levels Beyond, FileCatalyst, Marquis Media, and Ngenea HSM for PixStor from Pixit Media, and Atempo Digital Archive. As we move into 2018, you can expect more partnership announcements from Caringo as we grow our family of technology and distribution partners to help customers struggling with unbridled data growth that need a cost-effective secondary tier of storage with instant accessibility.
If you want to learn more, I’d like to invite you to join us for our upcoming webinar December 19 with Object Storage for Digital Video hosted by our VP of Marketing Adrian Herrera and featuring Senior Consultant John Bell. It will focus on:
