CaringoConnect Membership
When you register with CaringoConnect you gain access to product downloads, documentation, training, technical support through the forums and access to the online store. Access is provided to a full set of resources including sample code for in-house IT developers, ISVs and systems integrators to enable them to integrate applications to CAStor using its native HTTP interface.

Step-by-Step Guide to Installing and Scaling CAStor
Install CAStor on three server nodes in four easy steps. Once the software is running, you can scale capacity by installing a new license key with more licensed capacity.

1. Download CAStor and prepare nodes

2. Create CAStor USB flash boot drives

3. Boot each node and follow the wizard

4. Start storing content in CAStor!

Installing and Using CloudFolder
Caringo's CloudFolder is available for free download from CaringoConnect. It allows users to easily store and archive files from their desktop to a CAStor storage cloud. Evaluate the capability of CloudFolder by storing files to Caringo's online test cluster or configure to work with a local cluster using the free CAStor software download.

Program Eligibility Statement
Licenses cannot be combined to create CAStor clusters of greater capacity, i.e. a 2TB license cannot be combined with a 4TB license for a 6TB cluster. Download licenses cannot be used to increase the licensed capacity of an existing CAStor cluster. For customers that already have a CAStor implementation or are interested in different capacity, please email sales@caringo.com for pricing.

CAStor cluster

• Three or more standard x86 servers to become dedicated CAStor nodes
  • Xeon, Athlon 64, or equivalent CPU
  • 1GB RAM
  • Gigabit network interface
  • Enterprise class SATA, SAS, or SCSI disks
• Three or more USB flash drives, 64MB or larger
• Computer running Windows or Linux to copy CAStor download to USB flash drives
• Monitor and keyboard for initial configuration

CAStor cluster-in-a-box (Multi-core processors)
CAStor can also be run on a single server node with a multi-core processor and one or more internal disks per core. A virtual CAStor node can run in each core with one or more internal drives allocated to each and will perform just like a typical storage cluster with multiple
