Derek Gascon

A 20-year veteran in the technology industry, Derek has led market and product strategies for archiving and content management software and solutions for a decade. Prior to joining Caringo he served as Senior Director, Global Product Marketing at Hitachi Data Systems where he was responsible for the company’s archive products and led a global line of business for archive solutions. Derek has also served in leadership positions at StorageTek and Qwest Communications. He has published several papers on content management and archiving and has been a guest speaker at numerous conferences in the content industry. He holds a BS in Business Information Systems from San Diego State University and is completing a MS in Management at the University of Colorado. |
