Jim Dutton
VP Research and Development
A software professional with a career of over 30 years, Jim has served in executive capacities that include VP Software Development, VP Customer Service, President, COO, CEO, and Director. He has participated in the development of many cutting edge technologies, including the first local area network (ARCnet), the first OO programming environment (Smalltalk), and one of the first peer-to-peer Instant Messaging systems (Ding!). Jim has a BS in Applied Mathematics from Florida Institute of Technology with minors in electrical engineering and nuclear physics and a MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. He has also published numerous technical papers in the areas of business process automation, queueing network simulation, visual programming, computation theory, and software development environments. |
